THE STORY
A few information is known about the crash ; we only know that the aircraft fell near the chapel and pond of the Guérrand Castle and that the pilot was killed. A Genadarmerie report (see appendices) informs us that around 3:50 p.m. - 4 p.m., a German fighter plane fell at the Guérrand Castle in Plouégat-Guérrand. Two of its tanks (probably additional tanks) were dropped by the fighter and fell at the place called "La Chapelle du Mur", in the commune of Plouigneau, without causing any accidents.
