Armstrong Whitworth Whitley

The Armstrong-Whitworth A.W. 38 Whitley was a British twin-engine bomber. It served in March 1937 (maidden flight March 17, 1936) and was one of the first heavy night bombers of the RAF. Some 1,800 units were manufactured. The dimensions of the Whitley were : wingspan: 25.6 m - length : 21.5 m - height : 4.57 m. His crew was 4 men (Mk V).
