- " Feinbeob. Einsatz West " :
MARX was probably carrying out an observation and attack mission of the Western Front (advance of the Allied forces).
- " Nach Feindf. vermißt" : certainly killed after a dogfight with ennemy aircraft.
- " Die Benachrichtigung der Angeh. ergfolgt gem.L.V.B1.34/43, Ziff.1405. Der Nachlaß wird den Angeh.in 14 Tagen übers. " : en résumé, il est précisé que la famille sera informée selon un protocole codé et que les effets du pilote disparu seront renvoyés sous 14 jours.
