The Handley Page HP.52 Hampden was a twin-engined medium bomber of the Royal Air Force. Her maidden flight was made on June 21st, 1936 and the aircraft served late 1938. More than 1,400 units were manufactured. The wingspan of the Hampden was 69 ft 2 in and its length of 53 ft 7 in. Her crew was made of 4 airmen. The Hampden could carry 4,000 lb of bombs or 1 torpedo.
